Fresenius Kabi's Home Care concept FresuCare
Many patients still require medical care at home after a stay in the hospital.
As one of the first companies in Germany, Fresenius Kabi established a home care organization 20 years ago. Today, many patients across Europe receive care in their familiar surroundings – around 200,000 times per year in Germany alone.
The goal of the FresuCare concept is to provide patients with the highest possible quality of life by offering care at home and as much mobility as possible. Fresenius Kabi’s home care organization is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 (2000).
In terms of care quality, Fresenius Kabi meets the expert standard of the German Network for Quality Development in Care. Its goal is to involve all participants in the care process at an early time and to reduce obstacles in the transition from inpatient to outpatient care.
The quality management system aims at promoting an awareness for quality and improving quality standards, which are focused on the individual patient and his or her needs, desires and requirements.
