Marie Curie Industry Host Award

07.02.2002
Bad Homburg v.d.H.

Fresenius Medical Care has been selected to be an Industry Host under the European Commission's Marie Curie Fellowship Scheme.

Marie Curie Industry Host Fellowships are awarded to registered companies which are active in research and able to provide excellent training for young researchers in a specified field. The award recognises the company to be a 'Centre of Excellence' in this field with a high profile at European / international level.

The aim of the Marie Curie Industry Host Fellowships is to open up research training opportunities for young post-graduate and post-doctoral researchers in an industrial and commercial environment, particularly for those without previous experience in such an environment. These fellowships will encourage the co-operation and transfer of knowledge and technology between industry and academia. Further information on Marie Curie fellowships are available on the European Commission's official Marie Curie Fellowships Website.

Under the Marie Curie training scheme, Fresenius Medical Care is offering a 2-year post-doctoral position to work on the further improvement of dialysis treatment.
